Over the years I have written the following books :
“The Church upon The Hill” – 1992
Co-written with Anne Monaghan and Charlie Ward and about the history of the local church for its centenary
“West Fermanagh Kingdoms of Mulleek & Toura” – 1998
A small booklet with some history of two local townlands.
“The Phantom Airman” – 2003
The first fictional publication with a story based on tale of an airman based in Fermanagh on the Flying Boats during World War Two.
“Voices of the Donegal Corridor” – 2005
This is a compilation of stories about the many planes that were lost in the Fermanagh and Donegal area during World War Two.
“Old Belleek Town” -2006
This is a compilation of old photographs from the Belleek area most of which were previously unpublished and were provided by members of the local community.
“A History of Camlin Castle and the Tredennick Family” – 2007
A book about a local castle which was lost during the construction of the Erne Power Station scheme of the late 1940’s and its resident family – this book was dedicated to the memory of a local young journalist Donna Ferguson whose life was tragically taken in a car accident.
“Lost in Ireland” – 2007
Back to the realms of fiction for this novel about a young German airman whose plane ditched in the Belleek area during World War Two and his ongoing struggle to make his way back to his family in Germany.
